The charge for the Rhododendron Walks is reduced by £1 per person if combined with a visit to Bowood House and Gardens on the same day.

Disabled facilities

Bowood welcomes people with disabilities. However wheelchair access to remote areas of the park can be limited. There are some paths with fairly steep gradients.
The ground floor of Bowood House is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The upper floors and exhibition rooms are available to view in the New Hall via a pre-recorded tour given by our curator, Dr. Kate Fielden. Tours written in Braille are also available on request. Visitors to the House may be allowed to drive to a set off point adjacent to the House on request.
Facilities for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility include designated parking and wheelchairs are available to borrow, subject to availability. We suggest you book these in advance by calling the Estate Office on 01249 812102.
Working assistance dogs are welcome in the House and Grounds. We also offer half price admissions for registered disabled visitors and their carers.

Sorry no dogs, except working assistance dogs.
Barbeques are not permitted
Children of 12 years and under only are allowed on the Adventure Playground equipment.
Children up to 132cm in height are allowed on the Soft Play Palace equipment.

Bowood management reserves the right to occasionally close the house & gardens to season ticket holders & the general public. Details of any such closure times will be displayed on the website & at the admission gate one week prior to closure. There will be no refund of season ticket or entry price.
