Temple Gate Coffee Shop

With freshly prepared, home cooked food, the Coffee Shop is a favourite with all Bowood visitors.  The light and spacious surroundings provide a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a tea or coffee or a light lunch.

The coffee shop is open 10.30am to 6.00pm daily (last orders for food taken at 5.00pm).  Please note that you do not have to enter the House and Gardens in order to use the Coffee Shop.

WIFI is available within the Coffee Shop.

Freshly made sandwiches, Paninis, Salads, Wraps, Home-made soup of the day, Club sandwich, Goats cheese crostini, Home-made Burger and Chips, Sausage & Mash.

A large selection of childrens menu items is also available.

NB: Menu items change on a regular basis.

Bowood House Restaurant

Bowood House Restaurant is open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, 2.30pm to 4.30pm serving delicious cream teas.

Or why not enjoy a delicious two course Sunday Carvery in our recently refurbished Restaurant?  Book by 5pm on Friday and enjoy FREE entry to Bowood House, Gardens and Adventure playground.  Season ticket holders receive a 15% discount.

Ice Cream Kiosk and Soft Play Palace

A selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams are available every day of the Season from the Soft Play Palace and during weekends and school holidays from the Ice Cream Kiosk in the Adventure Playground.

Group Catering

Special group catering is available in the newly refurbished House Restaurant for groups of 20 or more.  We would be happy to arrange morning coffee and biscuits, a two course lunch or afternoon tea.

Catering must be re-booked at least 2 weeks in advance so please contact us to discuss further.

Alternatively groups can eat in the Temple Gate Coffee Shop on a first come first served basis.

Group Catering

The Terrace Gift Shop has a wide range or affordable Bowood souvenirs, personally designed to remind you of a wonderful time: Bowood jams, mugs, fudge and candles to name but a few.  Books and jewellery for adults; toys and gifts for children – there is something for everyone!

A limited range of souvenirs and children’s toys is also available from the Coffee Shop.

The Gift Shop is open from 11.00am to 5.30pm every day (during the Season).
