Bowood Hotel and Bowood House host a wide variety of events and activities across the year – from face painting, treasure trails and half term fun at the House, to Sunday Caveries, literary afternoon teas and sparkling festive parties. We keep this events list up to date, and we will also post events on our facebook page, to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

Rhododendrons open for 2012 seasonThis is a spectacular attraction offering breathtaking vistas of colour and beauty covering over 60 acres. This woodland oasis of azaleas, magnolias and rhododendrons is considered to be one of the most exciting gardens of its type in the country; it lies on a seam of greensand running from Poole in Dorset to The Wash on the East Coast. Jubilee CelebrationsTo mark the wonderful Diamond Jubilee, Bowood House & Gardens will offer the chance for children to involve themselves in the celebrations with the opportunity to make Royal Crowns and to design their own special Jubilee Flags. Bowood Charity Dog Show and Summer FairThe 7th Bowood Charity Dog Show & Summer Fair takes place from 10am to 5pm, raising funds for local charities. See their website www.bowooddogshow.org for further information on displays, trade stands, etc. This year the Show is featuring the Tractor Ted Farm Show. |
